The National Weather Service in State College PA has issued a

• Snow Squall Warning for…
  Northeastern McKean County in north central Pennsylvania…
  Northern Potter County in north central Pennsylvania…
  Northwestern Tioga County in north central Pennsylvania…
• Until 1115 AM EST.
• At 1030 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
  extending from near Shinglehouse to near Roulette to Marshburg,
  moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
up to 20 mph.

SOURCE…Radar and webcams.

IMPACT…Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes the following highways…
Route 6 between east of Smethport and Port Allegany, and from Ski
Denton to west of Galeton.
Route 219 from South Bradford to the New York border.
State Road 46 from north of Smethport to Farmers Valley.
State Road 446 from Farmers Valley to the New York border.

Locations impacted include…
Bradford, Coudersport, Port Allegany, Shinglehouse, Westfield,
Genesee, Rew, Harrison Valley, Coryville, Eldred, Knoxville and
Ulysses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
