Sizerville State Park Environmental Education Programs for the weekend of September 29th
Program Title: Fall Foliage Frolic
Date: Friday, September 29th
Time: 2:00 – 3:30 PM
Location: Near Pavilion 2
Description: The fall season is here, so let’s enjoy the beautiful colors that come along with this time of year! Join the park educator for a short walk in the park as we go over the basics of tree identification, why/how the leaves change color, and enjoy the scenery the park has to offer. Wear sturdy shoes for walking on the trails, and feel free to bring a water bottle and bug spray!

Program Title: Deer vs. Elk Talk
Date: Friday, September 29th
Time: 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Location: Campground Amphitheater
Description: What are the differences between deer and elk? Who arrived in Pennsylvania first? Come to this program and find out, along with learning general facts about each of these mammals. Short talk followed by a movie – feel free to bring snacks and a blanket!

In case of thunder, lightning, or extreme weather conditions programs may be moved or cancelled.
