Sizerville State Park Environmental Education Programs for the weekend of August 17th
Program Title: Monarch Mania
Date: Saturday, August 17th
Time: 3:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: Did you know that monarchs can travel up to 2,500 miles during their migration route? Join the park educator to look for these milkweed butterflies throughout the park and learn about their great migration! Short talk on monarchs, followed by exploring the park and tagging monarchs if we catch any – wear sturdy shoes and nets will be provided.

Program Title: Wild About Woodpeckers
Date: Saturday, August 17th
Time: 8:00 – 9:30 PM
Location: Campground Amphitheater
Description: Did you know that there are 7 different species of woodpeckers found in PA? Come out to this program and learn something unique about each species! Short talk followed by a movie—feel free to bring snacks and a blanket!
