Shirley C. Foster, 89, of West Washington Street, Bradford, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born March 1, 1935, in DuBois, she was a daughter of the late Carl M. and Martha E. (Calhoun) Carlson.

Shirley had been employed as a Library Assistant at Penfield High School in Penfield NY, retiring in 1994. 

On June 29, 1974, she married Stephen A. Foster, who preceded her in death on April 21, 2020. 

Shirley was a member of West Branch United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, traveling with her husband after he retired.

Surviving is her only daughter, Sharon Renwick, of Petaluma CA, and many friends in Willow Creek.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two infant children, Linda Lynn Renwick, and Ricky Blaine Renwick.
 
Friends are invited to funeral services on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 11:00 am in the West Branch United Methodist Church, with Rev. Ernie Perry, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.
