Sherry M. Davidson, 67, of Curtis Rd. in Ludlow, PA
Sherry M. Davidson, 67, of Curtis Rd. in Ludlow, passed away Thursday (Oct. 3) at UPMC-Hamot. Born May 23, 1957 in Kane, she is the daughter of the late Gerald and Ruth (Beane) Holmes. On Sept. 3, 1977 in Kane she married Daniel Davidson, who preceded her in death.
Sherry had worked in home health care. She had several nieces, nephews,grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she loved each and every one of them. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. She would always put others needs before her own.
She is survived by two sons, Travis “Trapper) Davidson of Ludlow and Dan Davidson of Sheffield; three daughters, Allie (Roger) Umpleby and Ellen Holmes both of Kane and Shari Davidson of Ridgway; a step daughter, Donna (Dale) Calder of UT; three step sons, Howard (Janet) Davidson and Roy Davidson both of UT and Jime (Josh) Davidson of WA; a fresh air child she raised, Ivellise Cruz of Puerto Rico; three granddaughters, Trisha Bowen, Sam Fox and Emily Davidson; five grandsons, Hunter Umpleby, Chase Umpleby, Lakota Fox, Andrew and Jacob Davidson; three sisters, Jeanette Maire of Willliamsport, Dot Asel of Ludlow and Maryanne Hamilton of Ridgway; one brother Jerry Holmes of Byson City, NC and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Ann Dilley and Connie Harris.
Friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday (Oct. 10) from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Cummings Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 with the Rev. Calvin Cook officiating. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon which will take place after the service at the Ludlow Fire Hall.
