Shawn B. Krug, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

He was born on March 27, 1965 in St. Marys, a son of the late Joseph Krug and the late Roselyn Murray Bauer.

Shawn was a 1983 graduate of Elk County Christian High School and then attended Edinboro University. He worked for many years at Morgan AM & T, and had also worked for a number of years at Keystone. With a knack for computers, Shawn was always very talented at setting up and repairing computers. He was an avid Steelers fan and always enjoyed watching the games and cheering his team on. With a big heart and kind smile, Shawn will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his step-father; John Bauer of St. Marys, by four brothers; David (Holly) Krug of State College, Jerry (Mary) Krug, of St. Marys, Terry Krug of St. Marys, and Vic (Missy) Bauer of Pittsburgh, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Shawn was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Memorial Service for Shawn B. Krug will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Fr. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
