SEVERAL TROUT STOCKINGS POSTPONED IN CENTRE, CLINTON, AND POTTER COUNTIES AHEAD OF OPENING DAY
HARRISBURG, Pa. (April 4) – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is alerting anglers that due to high water conditions, several trout stockings scheduled for this week in Centre, Clinton, and Potter counties, have been postponed. As a result, the impacted stream sections will not receive stocked trout prior to the statewide Opening Day of Trout Season on Saturday, April 6. These waters include:
- Centre County; Pine Creek, Section 02
- Centre County; White Deer Creek, Section 02
- Clinton County; Kettle Creek, Sections 10 and 11
- Clinton/Potter counties; Kettle Creek, Section 09
Pending improved conditions, the impacted stream sections are scheduled to be stocked with trout during the week of April 8-12. Anglers who were planning to fish these stream sections on Opening Day and during the first several days of trout season should review the Trout Stocking Schedule to locate alternate waters that have already been stocked.
