Seneca Highlands IU9 is looking for a highly capable and forward-thinking network/systems administrator to join our team in providing services to school districts in Potter County. This role is pivotal in driving technology improvements within the school districts by working closely with the leadership teams, faculty, and staff members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the network and server infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity, and supporting all IT systems critical to the educational environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five years of IT experience with a strong background in network infrastructure planning, systems administration, and technology procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the network through firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal uptime and performance.
- Manage and maintain servers, including Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization platforms.
- Implement and maintain network access controls, user authentication, and authorization protocols.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of educational software and applications.
- Provide technical support and training to staff and students on network and system-related issues.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute technology projects and upgrades.
