Scott A. Burgeson, 57, of Maurus Street, St. Marys, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, April 20, 2023.

He was born on December 19, 1965 in St. Marys, a Son of the late Kenneth Burgeson and Ilene Leviski Burgeson, who survives of St. Marys. 

Scott worked at Sylvania for 29 years, and most recently he worked at Accu-sort as a fork truck operator. In his free time, Scott enjoyed golfing and bowling as well as playing pool. He was a true sports fan, always rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, the Carolina Tar heels and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and he greatly enjoyed going hunting. More than anything he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, especially while riding dirt bikes together.

He is survived by 3 Sons; Cody Burgeson (Brittany Polaski) of Johnsonburg, Tyler Burgeson of Ridgway, and Nathan Burgeson (Kaelynn Kuhar) of Ridgway; and by his beloved granddaughter; Peyton. He is also survived by 3 siblings; Michael (Mary) Burgeson of Moon Township, Teri Burgeson of North Carolina, and Darla Burgeson of St. Marys, and by numerous nieces and nephews, and his dog Bailey.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Scott A. Burgeson will be celebrated on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Thomas Curry as celebrant.

Family and friends will be received at the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday April 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass.
