Sandra Northrop, 83, of Johnson Rd. in Kane, PA passed away Tuesday (June 11) at the Warren Manor where she had recently resided.  Born Feb. 26, 1941 in Erie, she is the daughter of the late Elmer and Margaret (Farber) Steinle.  On April 14, 1962 in Girard, she married Jack Northrop, who survives.

Sandra had been employed as a bank teller for PNC bank for many years.  She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Kane and the United Methodist Women.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Debra Nissen; one son, Shawn (Katie) Northrop; three grandsons, Lee Nissen, Jake Northrop and Ryan Arra and one sister, Linda (Bruce) Getz.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday (June 17) at the Cummings Funeral Home from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.  Interment will be in the Girard Cemetery.
