Sandra J. Remington, 84, of 13 Chris Drive, Bradford, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, at The Pavilion at BRMC.
Sandy was born in Williamsport on March 8, 1940. She was the daughter of the late J. Gerald and Helen (Lacey) Moore.
She was a 1958 graduate of Williamsport High School. She later attended JCC in Olean and earned a Degree in Accounting.
Sandy worked at KOA Speer Electronics in Accounts Payable and payroll for over 25 years. She retired in 2001.
She was a former member of St. Francis Church, Rosary Alter Society, and the 50+ Group, and a current member of St. Bernard Church.
Surviving is one daughter, Cynthia Remington-Bigley, of Bradford, one son-in-law, Kevin Stokes, of Rew, three grandchildren, Chelsea (Tom) Taylor, of Bradford, Darci Wonsettler, of Brookville, and Brock (Mariah Harrington) Bigley, of Bradford, five great grandchildren, Grayson Taylor, Jacob Wonsettler, Makayla Reynolds, Adalynn Bigley, and Abagail Bigley, one brother, James (Doris) Moore, of Boaz AL, one niece, Terri (Greg) Rosenblatt, and one nephew, David (Tara Piediscalzi) Moore.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Kathy Remington-Stokes, who died December 4, 2012, and Sandyâs companion of 52 years, Don Louk who died August 15, 2018.
Family will receive friends on Friday February 7, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. 33 South Avenue. Friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Saturday at St. Bernard Church with Rev. John Jacquel, pastor as Celebrant. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
