Ruth M. Branigan, 84, previously of Kane, PA passed away on Dec. 16, 2023 in Reading. Born April 25, 1939 in Kane, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Selma Mohney.

Ruth was a professional truck driver and a member of the Teamsters Union.

She is survived by one daughter, Debra (Dan) Dore; three sons, Michael (Vicki) Jamerson, Joseph (Janice) Niklas and Robert Niklas; five sisters, Liz (Herk) Durnell, Sandy (Harry) Spaulding, Patty (John) Moore, Annie (Dave) Kearney and Sue (Tim) Mishic; one brother, Henry (Dottie) Mohney; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchidlren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Frank “Rich” Mohney and another brother in infancy.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
