Rosa L. Martin, 71, of Coudersport, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at UPMC West Shore, Mechanicsburg.  She was born on June 23, 1953, in Coudersport, the daughter of the late Norman K. and Filomena R. (Lagonia) Leete.  Rosa married Michael N. Martin on September 2, 1978, and celebrated 35 years of marriage until his passing on March 10, 2014.  

Rosa was a graduate of Coudersport High School, Class of 1971.  She worked for Pure Carbon for over 40 years.  Rosa was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church and the American Legion, Potter Post #192.  She loved caring for her plants, reading, and her grandchildren. 

Rosa is survived by daughters: Shena Martin of Coudersport; Maria (Joseph) Peters of Hickory; a son: Michael (Lori) Stellabupo of Barberton, OH; siblings: Kathy Padilla of Mechanicsburg; Patricia Mitchell of Mechanicsburg; Norman “Butch” (Denise) Leete of Williamsport; Michael (Peggy) Leete of Etters; granddaughters: Lili Martin, Saige Peters, and Cali Peters, and her beloved German Shepards: Max and Knox.

A memorial mass at St. Eulalia Catholic Church and a celebration of Rosa’s life will be announced at a later date.  The family suggest memorial contributions in Rosa’s name be made to the Coudersport Public Library, 502 Park Ave., Coudersport, PA 16915.  Rosa’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas Fickinger Funeral Home 210 N.
