Ronald E. Norberg, 93, of Cross Fork, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at his home. Born on October 23, 1931 in Morgantown, WV, he was a son of the late Carl and Wilbia (Lambert) Norberg. 

He was a graduate of Morgantown High School and then attended and earned three master’s degrees from West Virgina University in Morgantown. Ron was a veteran having served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

On December 22, 1963, he married the former Judith Harris, who preceded him in death on April 8, 2010. Ron was an Industrial Arts teacher for the Marshall County School District until he retired. He was a member of the Morgantown V.F.W Post #548 and the American Legion Post #18 in Cameron, WV. Ron loved teaching and his sons say he could teach anything to anyone.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald (Susan Marble) Norberg, Cross Fork and Ray Norberg, Cameron, WV; three grandchildren, Noelle, Caitlyn and Brittany Norberg; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ron was predeceased by a brother, Carl “Pete” Norberg, and a sister, Ellen “Marie” Cramer. Services will be held at the family’s convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #18, 18 Main Street, Cameron, WV 26033. Arrangements and the Cremation have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Galeton.
