Robin G. Formoso

Robin G. Formoso, 66, of Church St., Port Allegany, PA passed away unexpectedly Thursday (July 4, 2024) in her home.

     Born April 28, 1958, in Olean, NY, she was a daughter of Lawrence M. and Phyllis E. Abel Brundage.  In May 1999, she married Joseph M. Formoso, in Cincinnati, OH.

     Robin was a graduate of the Port Allegany High School, class of 1976.

     She had been employed with Ethan Allen Corp., Eldred, PA, for 20 years, and later with Judson Care Center, as a certified nurse’s aide, in Cincinnati, OH.

     She attended the Chestnut Street Baptist Church, Port Allegany. She was a member and president of the Port Allegany Senior Center. Robin loved her cross-stitching & puzzles, but most of all she loved her two cats, and planting flowers.

     Surviving in addition to her mother, Phyllis E. McNeil of Turtlepoint; are two sons, Christopher R. Petteys of Florida, Cody W. Petteys of Port Allegany; several grandchildren; a sister, Amy D. (Joseph) Shelley of Port Allegany; a brother, Lawren D. “Whitey” (Sally) Brundage of Port Allegany; two stepbrothers, Kim I. (Christine) McNeil of Eldred, Tim L. (Dawn) McNeil of Turtlepoint; and two stepsisters, Kim Rees of Port Allegany, and Tammy (Craig) Emerson of Victoria, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Brundage, stepfather, Donald McNeil, husband Joseph M. Formoso, and a stepbrother, Ronald Rees.

     A celebration of life service will be held at a later time & date to be announced.

    Memorials can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

    Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Switzer Funeral Home, Port Allegany.
