Robert “Bud” Clyde Paul, 65, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at UPMC Wellsboro.

Born October 3, 1957, in Coudersport, PA, he was a son of the late Clyde H. and Virgina M. (Fowler) Paul. On July 29, 1983, in Galeton, he married the former Debra Dougherty, who survives.

Bud owned and operated Paul Family Farms with his brother and best friend, Tim Paul. Bud enjoyed hunting and taking hikes on his Mountain. He was also an avid reader and was a history buff. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Debra, are one son, Travis (Erin) Paul, Greenville, SC; a daughter, Amanda (Chad Sepiol) Paul, Galeton; one grandchild, Boyd Robert Paul; two brothers, Roy “Bim” Paul and Tim (Cathie) Paul, both of Galeton; and a sister, Judy Paul of Galeton.

In addition to his parents, Bud was predeceased by a sister, Jeanette Sykora and a brother-in-law, Carl Sykora.

In keeping with Bud’s wishes, there will be no services and his ashes will be spread on his farm.

In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, Bud would have encouraged family and friends to support local farmers and Galeton businesses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton.
