Roadway Crack Seal Project – Lycoming and Tioga Counties

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a crack seal project continues on several routes in Lycoming and Tioga counties.
The week of Monday, September 22, 2025, the contractor, Kriger Construction, Inc., will continue to crack seal Route 15 in both directions between the Route 14 in Trout Run, Exit 148 and Liberty, Exit 162. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM where work is being performed.
Additional work will take place on the following routes during daylight hours.
- Route 15 between Route 14 in Lewis Township, Lycoming County and Route 6 in Mansfield, Tioga County.
- Route 220 between Interstate 180 in Muncy Township and Route 405 in Hughesville Borough, Lycoming County.
- Route 49 between Westfield Borough and Elkland, Tioga County.
- Foy Avenue (Route 3036) in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County.
Motorists can anticipate lane restrictions on four lane roads or single lane conditions with flagging on two lane roads, where work is being performed. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays, watch for changing traffic patterns, and drive with caution through the work zone.
Kriger Construction, Inc. is the prime contractor on this $320,000, roadway crack sealing project. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed in the fall 2025, weather permitting.
