Richard Philip Krise, age 72 of Lawrenceville, PA passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Corning Hospital. Born on December 13, 1951 in Blossburg, he was the son of the late Philip r. and Dorothy M. (Casbeer) Krise.

Dick retired from Corning Inc., was a member of the Osceola Fire Department and a member of the Valley Community Ambulance Association.

He enjoyed classic country music and was an avid outdoorsman; loved hunting, fishing, camping and riding his 4-wheeler.

Dick is survived by his children, Becky and Brian Dunn of St. Petersburg, FL, Ashley Krise of Elkland, Luke and Katie Krise of Elkland and Dakota Simmons of Sabinsville; grandchildren, Jimmy Snyder, Mason Friends, Ella, Adalyn and Asher Krise and arriving in July 2024, Delilah Simmons; two sisters, Crystal Foster of Woodhull and Sally Krise of Osceola; companion, Susan Applebee of Lawrenceville and his aunt and uncle, Jack and Crystal Krise of Addison.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Scott Krise and an infant grandson, Emmit Krise.

Visitation will be held at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Saturday, April 27th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. A memorial service with military honors will be held immediately following at 4:00 PM with Pastor Mike Denelsbeck officiating.
