On March 2, 2025, at approximately 2222 hours, the City of Bradford Police Department responded to a retail theft complaint and disorderly conduct at Country Fair, located at 8 West Washington Street.

Upon arrival, officers located the male involved, identified as James Severance. Upon checking his identification, it was discovered that he had an active bench warrant from the Pennsylvania State Police regarding a theft. City officers took Severance into custody and transported him to the Bradford City Police Department, where he was subsequently transferred to Pennsylvania State Police custody.

The theft from Country Fair and the disorderly conduct remain under investigation.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
