Randy M. Schneider, 52, of Main Street, Kersey, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
He was born on September 16, 1971 in Ridgway, PA, a son of the late Kenneth Schneider and Judith Geci Schneider.
On June 30, 2006, he married the love of his life, E’Dee Caskey Schneider, whom he continued to love and cherish for all of his days.
Randy was a member of St. Boniface Church. He was a talented and passionate woodworker, creating beautiful works of art from a block of wood. Always enjoying the peace and tranquility of the outdoors, he never turned down the chance to go for a ride, especially to Hicks Run. He also loved hunting, fishing, and his puppy, Jake. One of life’s greatest joys for Randy was his boy, Tyler, of whom he was so proud and was a loving and devoted father. Randy’s world revolved around E’Dee and Tyler, and a day never passed where he didn’t tell his family and show them how much he loved them.
In addition to his beloved wife, E’Dee, he is survived by two children; Tyler Caskey of Kersey and Courtney (Jake) Reynolds of North Carolina and by two grandchildren; Jennah and Austin. He is also survived by two special cousins; Tracy Schneider of St. Marys and Jamie Chicola of Morrisdale, and by special friends; Lois and Donald “Fid” Feidler of Brockport.
In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Ray and Bertie Schneider, his maternal grandparents; Joseph and Florence Geci, his step-grandmother; Annabelle Geci, by a special cousin; Shane Schneider, and by his in-laws; David “Tater” and Iris Caskey.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Randy M. Schneider will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Boniface Church, 355 Main Street, Kersey, PA 158546 with Fr. Kevin Holland, Pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received at the St. Boniface Church on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass.
