Randall R. “Randy” Brown, 74, of 7480 Bowker Road, Friendship, NY passed away Saturday (Jan. 21, 2023) at Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville, following a lengthy illness.

Born March 23, 1948, in North Tonawanda, he was the son of Robert and Maude Bowker Brown.

Randy graduated from Tonawanda High School in 1968, then served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, including a tour in Thailand.

Upon discharge, he was employed at Harrison Radiator in Lockport. He returned to Friendship in 1975, where he worked as a truck driver for Frank C. Resch Distributing in Cuba, then finished his career with the Town of Wirt Highway Department.

Randy was a competitive fisherman, hunter and horse wrangler for the entirety of his life. In the later years, he loved vacationing at the lake with family and beating everyone at euchre.

Surviving are two daughters, Amber (Craig) Vaccaro of Lynnfield, Mass. and Jaimee K. (Kameron Austin) Brown of Friendship; and three grandchildren, Juliette Vaccaro of Lynnfield, Emerson Austin of Friendship and Edison Austin of Friendship.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Thomas, who died at birth.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday (Jan. 24, 2023) at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship at which time funeral services will be held at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Mackmer of Belfast will officiate and burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Friendship.
