Potter County Youth Show Livestock at the 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show
The 109th 2025 Pennsylvania Farm Show was held January 4th-11th at the Pennsylvania Farm Show and Expo Center in Harrisburg.This event boasts as being the largest indoor agriculture event in the nation.
Six youth representing Potter County traveled to Harrisburg to exhibit their market animals at this state show.
Harriet Rutkowski-Hood, daughter of Michelle Rutkowski and Hank Hood and a member of Famous Wabbit 4-H Club exhibited her 244 lb. market hog placing 5th in the Crossbred Division Class 4.
Harriet won 10th overall in the Beginner Swine Showmanship class.
Harriet also exhibited her 104 lb. market lamb placing 4th place in the Crossbred Division 1 class.
Harriet qualified both of her market animals for the Jr. Scholarship Livestock sale held January 7th.
Bentley Nichols, son of Rachel and Brett Nichols of North Bingham, PA and a member of Northern Potter’s Headwaters FFA showed his 256lb. to a 5th place win in Crossbred Division Class 10. Bentley qualified his market hog for the Jr. Market Livestock Sale.
Lucille Rutkowski-Hood, daughter of Michelle Rutkowski and Hank Hood and a member of Famous Wabbit 4-H Club exhibited her 257 lb. market hog placing 7th in the Crossbred Division 11 Class.
Lucille also exhibited her 143 lb. market lamb to a 6th place in Crossbred Division Show class 11.
Rhyatt Coffed, son of Adam and Jessica James Coffed and a member of Famous Wabbit 4-H Club showed his 248lb. Market hog to a 7th place win in Crossbred Division 6 Class.
Rayna Coffed, daughter of Adam and Jessica James Coffed and a member of Famous Wabbit 4-H Club showed her 256 lb. market hog to win 7th place in Crossbred Division Class 10.
Austyn Wright, son of Derek and Emily Wright and a member of Famous Wabbit 4-H Club showed his 249lb. market hog placing 7th in Crossbred Division Class 7.
