Potter County Training & Operations Officer Earns PEMA Certification
James O’Shea, Training & Ops Officer for Potter County Department of Emergency Services, is upping his credentials. O’Shea earned his Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) Staff Associate Certification, the county announced Wednesday.
During a recent training workshop at the Potter County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), O’Shea was presented his Associate Certification by County Emergency Management Director Glenn Dunn and the Potter County Commissioners Nancy Grupp and Robert Rossman.
The county says the certifications help keep officials up-to-date on current technology, policies, programs and resources available to be able to prepare for and respond to disasters in the Commonwealth.
