• Young Artisan Painting Class is being offered on Thursday, October 9, from 3-4:30. During this class students will be painting a watercolor fox sitting on a pumpkin.  Students will learn to draw a fox and then practice techniques like glazing and shading.  Price of the class is $25.00.  Materials and snack will be provided. 

• A SHORT STORY CREATIVE WRITING COURSE with Lisa Post is being offered on Tuesdays, from September 9 – November 4 from 6-7:30.  Price of the class is $25 per session or $200 upfront for all 9 sessions (due before or on September 9^th.)

• KIDS’ NATURE ART JOURNALING CLASS is being offered on Tuesday, October 28, from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.  This class is being taught by Susan Schenck, Environmental Education Specialist, for the Bureau of State parks.  Perfect for young artists who love nature. Students will be given their very own nature journaling kit, including a magnifying glass, watercolor brush and watercolor pencils, to take home. Best for 4^th grade and older. 

• Cathy Snyder, master basket weaver, will be teaching a BASKET WEAVING CLASS on Saturday, October 18 from 9am-4pm.  Students are given a choice of 3 baskets:  Breast Cancer Awareness, Classy Desk Basket ($45.00) OR Stripes and Slants Napkin Basket ($30).  All supplies included.  Bring a snack or lunch. 

• On October 22 from 3-5, Brenda Bonczar, will be teaching a KIDS SEWING CLASS.  Students will be sewing s CANDY CORN STUFFY for kids. Price of the class is $25.00.  All supplies are included. 

• Laurie Angood, local watercolor painter, will be teaching a BEGINNER WATERCOLOR CLASS for Adults on Friday, October 24 from 6:00-8:00.  Students will be painting watercolor pumpkins of different colors, Skilled focused on for this class, include: painting ellipticals, glazing, wet – n – wet and dry brushing.  Artist quality materials are provided, and students are given a watercolor palette and paper as a take home gift.  Price of the class is $35.00.

• A special HALLOWEEN KIDS PAINTING CLASS will be held on Thursday, October 30, from 3-4:30. Students will be given the option of designing their own ‘spooky’ project or following a sample painting in watercolor or acrylic. Supplies and snacks will be provided.  Price of the class is $25.00.

• OCTOBER OPEN HOUSE: Stop in and join us for an Autumnal Celebration and Open House on Saturday, October 25 from 1-3 pm.  Enjoy an afternoon of autumn goodies, drink and local music.  Shop and snack and spend a relaxing afternoon with local artisans!
