Potter County Artisan Co-op plans events and classes in May
- A Mother’s Day Basket Class is being taught by master basket weaver, Cathy Snyder on Tuesday, May 7 starting at 4:30pm. Students may choose to make an Irish Knitting Basket or Egg Basket. Personalize your basket by choosing from different colored reed. The price of the class is $45.00 or $80.00 for a mother and child. Call the Potter County Artisan Co-op at 814-274-8165.
- Potter County Artisan Co-op is hosting a ‘10 Year Anniversary Celebration’ on Friday, May 10, from 6-8 pm. Celebrate with live music by Jonathan Meade, wine tasting with Little Mountain Winery, food, door prizes and giveaways. RSVP by calling 814-274-8165.
- An Outdoor Photography Class will be held on May 11, starting at 9:00 am until mid-afternoon with Curt Weinhold. This class is for all those who want to improve their outdoor photo skills. Bring cameras, lenses, tripod, and appropriate dress for the day’s weather. Students will meet at the Artisan Co-op and drive about 15-20 miles to the class destination. Class is $55.00. Please call the Co-op to register.
- The monthly Young Artisan Class with Laurie Angood and Danika DeCarlo will be held on Thursday, May 16, from 3-4:30pm. Students will be painting ‘Bear with Trout’ in acrylic on canvas. Appropriate for Grades 2 through 6. Supplies and snack provided. Price of the class is $25.00.
- Spa Night returns on Thursday, May 23 from 5 – 8:00 pm. Cover is $10.00, spa services, including Reflexology, Foot Detox, Massage, and Facials, are an extra fee. Refreshments served. For more information, please call the co-op at 814-274-8165.
