Port Allegany United Methodist Church Souper Bowl Success
Regardless of who you rooted for during the 2024 Super Bowl game, the Port Allegany United Methodist Church had a winning collection of soup, crackers and cash to donate to PACS (Port Allegany Community Services). Makayla Alcorn, Lillianne Reed, Christian Reed and Langston Reed collected the Friday and Saturday before the Super Bowl at the Port Allegany Shop n Save. Church members brought their donations to church on Super Bowl Sunday. Together they collected 169 cans of soup, 21 boxes of crackers, two others (not soup) and $204 in cash.
