Tree dedication 24557 – Pitt-Bradford alumni Bill Hughey ’68-’70 and Gary Rathburn ’68-’70 unveil a hydrangea tree planted in memory of Ed Horbal, Steven Scott and Terrance Doyle, three Pitt-Bradford students who were killed in the crash of Allegheny Airlines Flight 737 on Jan. 6, 1969, on approach to the Bradford Regional Airport. Both Hughey and Rathburn were on the same flight but survived the crash.

Both the tree and the field were dedicated during ceremonies Friday at Pitt-Bradford.
Field Dedication 16817 – Gary Rathburn ’68-’70 and his wife, Anita, both in white, stand with friends and family in front of the scoreboard at Rathburn Family Field, which was dedicated on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Friday. The new artificial turf field will be home to Panther soccer and lacrosse teams.
