PennDOT McKean County Maintenance work schedule for the week of July 24 – July 28, 2023
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation McKean County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of July 24 – July 28, 2023, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.

Sign Repairs and Upgrades:
- Various State Routes throughout the County
Mowing:
- Various State Routes throughout the County
Patching:
- State Route: 1006 (McCrae Brook)
- State Route: 6 (Mt. Jewett to Hazel Hurst)
- State Route: 1015 (Columbia Hill Road)
Shoulder Cutting:
- State Route: 1006 (McCrae Brook)
- State Route: 155 (Port Allegany to Larabee)
- State Route: 1009 (Bells Run Rd)
- State Route: 446 (Larabee to Farmers Valley)
Ditching:
- State Route: 46 (Bradford to Rew)
Box Culvert Replacement: Road Closed – Detour in place from July 14th to July 24th
- State Route: 146 (Red Mill Road)
The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting:
IA Construction Corp – Roadway Repair
State Route: 219. Contractors will be performing mill and fill.
Traffic control: Traffic along SR 219 in Lafayette Township will be controlled utilizing flaggers during normal work hours; there will be alternating traffic patterns.
