Penn State Extension Upcoming Workshop Offerings
COUDERSPORT, Pa. – The following upcoming educational workshops and webinars are happening this April 2025 in Potter County offered by Penn State Extension:
- Don’t miss registration for the 2025 Northwinds 4-H Camp held June 12-14 at Camp Penuel East in Eldred, PA open to all Potter County youth ages 8 to 13. Accepting signups in April. For more information reach out to Spencer at 814-274-8540 or sqg5901@psu.edu.
- New and Beginning Farmer Study Circle will be held on Thursday, April 17 at 6pm in the front conference room at the Gunzburger Building in Coudersport. Our topic this month will be marketing. - Garden Design and Planting will be held at the Potter County Penn State Extension Office on Saturday, April 26 from 11 AM to 1 PM. The event is free to attend, but you must pre-register by calling the office at 814-274-8540 ext. 100 or emailing wka5126@psu.edu.
Penn State Extension will also offer more than 40 educational webinars in April include trainings for several professional accreditation groups like the Society of American Foresters CFE credits, Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services (PA EMS) credits, Department of Human Services Personal Care Home Administrators and Assisted Living Residence Administrators (PCHA) credits and PDA Pesticide Applicator credits. Other topics include farm transition, identity theft, ticks, community trees, forest farming and wild leeks, living on a few acres and mushroom production, bees and other pollinators, home food preservation, business planning, dining with diabetes, private water supply and water testing which includes a free water test.
