Also earning top 10 spots for Penn College were Josiah Hinojos of Groton, Connecticut, sixth in men’s bowhunter; Matthew Byrnes of Manahawkin, New Jersey, sixth; and Brady Buriak of Herndon, 10th, in men’s compound.
“The Easton shoot is a great collegiate season kickoff. It was good to see the archers adjusting from our indoor range to competing on a line with 600 others. Many adjusted well with one podium (Keiter) and four top-ten finishes,” coach Dustin Bartron said.
“We have three weeks to hone our skills and shoot at the indoor nationals,” the coach added. “Many of the archers learned much about the new level of competition when shooting against colleges and universities from across the country.”
