On the par 72, 6,748-yard Summit Country Club at Cresson on Saturday, Mussina recorded seven more birdies en route to a 67 that tied his collegiate career low as he medaled for the seventh time.

Men’s/Women’s Tennis
The men opened their season on Friday with a 5-2 nonconference win over Lycoming College, winning four singles and two doubles matches.
Explaining the new collegiate scoring system instituted this season, Penn College coach David Straub said, “The three doubles matches are only one point, best of three instead of one point each. (If you) win two of three or all three, it’s still only one point. So, we won two of three for one point and four singles for four more points and a total of five. They won two singles for two points, so 5 to 2.”
