Paul Wilmer Althouse, 93, of Port Allegany

Port Allegany – Paul Wilmer Althouse, 93, of Port Allegany, passed away Thursday (March 5, 2026) at his home.
Mr. Althouse was born August 20, 1932 in Hamburg, PA, the son of Wilmer and Beulah (Mohn) Althouse.
Paul served three years in the U.S. Army
A graduate of Millersville State College and New York University, he taught industrial arts in high schools in New Jersey.
On June 25, 1966, in Lambertville, NJ, he married N. Jane Davis, who survives. In 1969, they relocated to Port Allegany and operated a dairy farm until 1993.
Paul was a member of the Salem Berne Methodist Church in Berks County, PA, and attended the Birch Grove Mennonite Church in Port Allegany. He was active in several organizations: PA Holstein Association, PA Farm Bureau, and West End Trailblazer Snowmobile Club. Paul enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling and visiting with friends in his shop. He was always ready to help someone with repairs to their machines.
In addition to his wife, Jane, he is survived by a son, William J. Althouse of Port Allegany, and one sister, Marion Yeager of Hamburg, PA.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Kalbach.
Please join family and friends at Birch Grove Mennonite Church, Port Allegany, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1-3PM for a time of remembrance of Paul. Light refreshments will be served.
