Paul Carson, 74, of West Wind Rd., Kane, PA passed away Thursday (July 4) at UPMC-Shadyside, following a brief illness. Born Nov. 18, 1949 in Kane, he is the son of the late Emmett and Caroline (Caramboni) Carson.On Feb. 4, 1978, in Kane, he married Becky Kibbie, who survives.
Paul worked as a boilermaker for the Local #154 for many years. He then owned and operated West Wind Whitetails after his retirement from the union. He was a member of the Highland Sportsman Club and a past member of the Kane Fish and Game Club. He also frequented many car shows with his 57 Sedan Delivery.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Jessica (Steve) Whiteman of Kane; one son, Shannon Carson of Kane, a grandson, Carson Whiteman of Kane, a granddaughter Ava Whiteman of Kane; two brothers, Alan and Terry Carson, both of Kane; one sister Nancy Carson of Rochester, NY and several nieces, nephews and great friends, including his best friend Brees, his dog. His favorite things to do were watch Carson play baseball and Ava barrel race. He was so proud of them.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service which will be conducted at Cummings Funeral Home on Friday (July 12) at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Calvin Cook and Paul’s nephew Isaya Miller conducting the service.
