Patricia A. Torrey, 82, of 136 Big Shanty Road, Lewis Run, PA passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at the Olean General Hospital.

Born on January 11, 1942, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Wendall L. and Ethel R. (Benninger) Fox. 

Pat was a 1959 graduate of Bradford Area High School. On July 30, 1960, in the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church in Lewis Run, she married Thomas L. Torrey, who survives. 

Pat was a homemaker while her children were being raised, and also worked as a teacher aide at MJ Ryan School, and several other part-time jobs. Her greatest joy was time spent with her children and grandchildren. 

Surviving in addition to her husband Tom, of 63 years, are two daughters, Cynthia (Peter) Hvizdzak, of Bradford, Deborah Cline, of Bradford, three sons, Rodney Torrey, of Bradford, William Torrey, of Lewis Run, and Thomas (Wayne Hoffman) Torrey, of Atlanta, GA, one brother, Gerald (the late Sara) Fox, of Erie, PA, grandchildren, Sean, Shane, Whitney, Ashley, and April, four great grandchildren, and two nieces. 

There will be no public services. Services are private at the convenience of family. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. 

Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Lafayette Volunteer Fire Department, 7004 RT 59, Lewis Run Pa 16738, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
