Patricia A. Levenduski, 89, of 149 Houston Road, St. Marys, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born May 29, 1933 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late William and Mary (Hoh) Zuraski. She was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of Wilcox High School, Class of 1951. In her early years she worked at Stackpole Carbon in Johnsonburg and then as a cook at Elk Haven Nursing Home for many years.
On May 29, 1954, in the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg, she married Edward Levenduski, who survives. They were blessed to share 68 years of marriage together.
In addition to her husband, Pat is survived by two daughters: Pam Bilodeau (John) and Mary Hauber; two sons: Joel Levenduski (Michalena) and Kenny Levenduski (Lorrie); a sister, Irene Micale; a brother, William “Billy” Zuraski; along with 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and brothers-in-law: Anastasia Parnell (Fred), Elizabeth “Honey” Nelson (Russell “Bunny”), Loretta Gerber (Harold “Bud”), Marcella Fledderman (Arthur), and Tillio “Tink” Micale; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Lawrence “Buzzy” Zuraski (Delores), Robert “Bob” Zuraski (Grace), and Shirley Zuraski; also a son-in-law, Chris Hauber; one grandchild, Nick Levenduski; and one step-grandchild, Erin Martinko.
She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and enjoyed being outside at camp, walking in the woods, fishing, swimming, and playing those slot machines.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 11:00AM with the Rev. Thomas More Sikora, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
A private visitation will be held by the family.
