Mansfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to an in-person plans display for the State Route 2005 (South Main Street) Safety Improvement Project and Richmond Township Sidewalk Project in Richmond Township, Tioga County.
The plans display can be viewed at the Richmond Township Office Building, 563 Valley Road, Mansfield, PA 16933 on Monday, April 22, 2024, between the hours of 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Construction will also include the extension of a culvert carrying an unnamed tributary to the Tioga River to accommodate the proposed improvements. Work is anticipated to begin in 2025, pending funding availability.
The purpose of the event is to display plans illustrating the proposed improvements, show the options being considered for the Richmond Township sidewalks, and receive public input regarding the project. PennDOT will have staff available to review the project and answer questions.
The project documents can be made available in alternative languages or formats if requested. If you need translation/interpretation services or have special needs or have special concerns that require individual attention, contact Rebecca Jackson, PennDOT Project Manager, at rebeccjack@pa.gov.
