NICKLAS INSURANCE GROUP/ACRISURE PRESENTS CHECK
Elk County- John Mulcahy, Managing Principal of the Nicklas Insurance Group an Acrisure partner presented a generous donation to the St. Marys Area United Way. Accepting the check on behalf of the St. Marys Area United Way are board members Jim Ryan, Vice-President; Jason Gabler, Corporate Committee Chair, and Mark Saline. Established in 1962, the Nicklas Insurance Group has 9 offices located in Central and Western, Pennsylvania, and is part of the Acrisure Mid-Atlantic Region. Acrisure is the Largest Property/Casualty Agency in the US and 6th Largest Global Broker, with locations in 21 countries that all share the same goal of providing secure and appropriate coverage with reliable and professional service. The St. Mary’s office is located in downtown St. Marys, PA on the corner of Madison and Washington Street.
Nicklas Insurance donation, like many others in the community, will help the St. Marys Area United Way achieve its annual campaign goal. The 2023 campaign goal is $200,000. As a result of the 2022 campaign, the St. Marys Area United Way board approved and granted awards in February of 2023 to Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys, Boys Scouts-Bucktail Council, CAPSEA, Catholic Charities, City of St. Marys Parks and Recreation, Crystal Fire Department, Dickinson Center, Elkland Search and Rescue, First United Methodist Church Youth Program, Girl Scouts of Western PA, Guardian Angel Center, St. Marys Area School District, St. Marys Library and the Veteran’s Memorial-Eternal Flame located on the Diamond downtown St. Marys.
The St. Marys Area United Way relies on contributions from companies and local individuals.
