NEW CHARGES BY COUNTY DETECTIVE FOR WOMAN ARRESTED BY BRADFORD CITY – CONTRABAND INSIDE JAIL

District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announces additional charges have been filed against the woman arrested by City of Bradford Police Officer Clayton Yohe following an assault that occurred in the City on March 15th.
McKean County Detective Linda Close filed additional charges against Taylor CLARK alleging CLARK concealed a pair of scissors on her body that she took from the City of Bradford Police Department during her processing on assault charges. The complaint further alleges that CLARK continued to conceal the scissors on her person during her transport to the McKean County Jail with City Officers. After CLARK was taken inside the jail to be booked on the assault charges, the scissors were found on her person.
Detective Close filed charges of Contraband (weapon or other implement inside a jail) – Felony; Possessing an Instrument of Crime (misdemeanor); and Theft. Arraignment is scheduled for April 9th. CLARK is scheduled for central court on the original charges of two counts of Simple Assault for March 27th.
