MARBLE FALLS, Texas—Natalie Jeanne Hardy Poole, 86, of Marble Falls, formerly of Shinglehouse, Pa., beloved mother, daughter, Memaw, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
Born on Sunday, April 4 1937 in the state of New York, she was the only child of Stanley E. and Corale M. Cooper Hardy.
Jeanne led a life filled with love, compassion, and creativity. She attended Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse and continued her education by studying Pre-Law and Accounting at the University of South Florida. Her dedication led her to become a paralegal, abstractor, escrow officer, and loan closer before she retired.
Although Jeanne always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, she channeled her love for animals through her pets, whom she cherished dearly. She was a vocal advocate against animal mistreatment and abuse, and her devotion to the well-being of animals.
As a woman of faith, Jeanne’s love for God was evident in her life. Jeanne’s heart overflowed with love for her family, her pets (current Ronni Jean and Chantel), her country and her faith. Her warm spirit and the beauty of her soul resonated through her unique and enchanting voice. Her infectious laughter brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In her life, Jeanne embodied her favorite quote, “No man is as tall as one who stoops to help a child.”
Her generous and kind nature knew no bounds, and she had a remarkable ability to lift the spirits of those around her. Jeanne was known for giving the best gifts, always reflecting her thoughtful and positive nature.
As we bid farewell to Jeanne, we celebrate the profound impact she had on the lives of everyone she touched. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her, and her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will live on in our hearts.
