Michael L. Emmick Sr., 68, of Wellsboro, PA passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital in Wellsboro.

Michael was born March 7, 1955, in Wellsboro, a son of Samuel and Patricia (Freeman) Emmick.

He was a race car driver at Woodhull Raceway in Woodhull, N.Y., and enjoyed fishing, hunting, darts, the Buffalo Bills, parties, his dog, Jim, and spending time with his family.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Samantha Emmick of Winslow, Ariz., and Michelle Emmick of Roulette, Pa.; grandchildren, Colin, Searrah, Julia, Emma, Briana, and Marshall; brothers, Donald Emmick of Nelson, Pa., Darold (Candy) Emmick of Ulysses, Pa., and Darren (Shannon) Emmick of Ulysses, Pa.; and sister, Donna Emmick of Wellsboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carol (Clark) Emmick, son, Michael L. Emmick Jr., grandson, Skye Nelson, and sister, Brenda Emmick.

In following Michael’s wishes there will be no services.
