Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Liberty Township

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Liberty Township was called to order at 8:30 A.M. by Chairman Dick Brown, Supervisor Neil Shepard, Supervisor Fred Ernst, and Secretary Cindy Speeth were present.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was recited by all.
REPORTS:
1. Ambulance Report for July, 2023 was received and there were 14 calls. Ambulance report for August was received and there were 11 calls.
2. Fire report for August, 2023 was received and there were 8 calls for Liberty Township.
3. Secretary’s Report for August 10, 2023 was presented and unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Supervisor Ernst.
4. Treasurer’s Report for the month of September, 2023 was presented and unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Ernst and a second by
Supervisor Shepard. Chairman Brown stated that in the General Fund there were bills paid in the amount of $13,630.89, revenues received in the amount of $5700.99 and a balance of $69,150.80. In the State Fund there were bills paid in the amount of $17,153.25, revenues received in the amount of $0 and a balance of $83,890.73.
CORRESPONDENCE:
1. PSATS Newsletter was presented by Chairman Brown.
2. PGE letter regarding hauling water out of Scaffold Lick from ponds 1, 2
NEW BUSINESS:
1. The secretary presented the MMO Worksheet for the 2024 Pension and it was unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Ernst and a second by Supervisor Shepard.
2. The secretary presented Resolution No. 2-23 regarding adopting “Peaceful Lane” as a Liberty Township private road for 911 mapping and it was unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Ernst and a second by Supervisor Shepard.

None
Chairman Brown stated that the township will be putting 400 tons of sand and salt(4/1 machine mix); 500 tons of 6s anti-skid and 500 tons of Pa2a out for bid to be opened at the October meeting.
As no further business was brought before the Board, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 8:40 a.m. on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Supervisor Ernst.
