Matthew Lance Scott Holdren, age 29, of Elkland, PA
Matthew Lance Scott Holdren, age 29 of Elkland, PA passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
He was born in Fayetteville, NC on May 12, 1995 and was a son to David K. Holdren and Christine M. Towner.
Matt enjoyed playing games on his Xbox, listening to music, cooking and grilling, traveling, spending time with his family and exploring different hobbies that intrigued him. He was an avid outdoorsman, spending countless hours hiking, kayaking, fishing and enjoying the lake. His children, Karalyn and Jameson, were his pride and joys and it was said his biggest life accomplishment was achieved once he had his children. Matt was also known as the family prankster and instigator; he always knew how to get people laughing.
Matt is survived by his mother and step-father, Christine Towner and Scott Sorensen of Elkland; significant other, Breanna Kozlowski of Elkland; children, Karalyn and Jameson; mother-in-law, Theresa Tracy of Wellsboro; grandmother, Dawn Towner of Coopers Plain, NY; grandparents, Sam and Lorraine Sorensen of Osceola; aunts and uncles, Debbie and Daryl Cevette of Painted Post, NY, Scott and Staci Towner of California and Brian Sorensen of Osceola; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Holdren and grandfather, Bob Towner.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St. Elkland, PA, within our celebration room around back. Family and friends are encouraged to attend and share memories and stories of Matt.
