Mary E. (Henneberger) Antoniw, 88, of Wellsboro, PA

Mary E. (Henneberger) Antoniw, 88, of Wellsboro, passed away early Friday March 28, 2025, at Broad Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born November 11, 1936, in North Tonawanda, NY, to Joseph and Anna (O’Donnell) Henneberger. She married Nykola Antoniw, and earned her Bachelor of Science from Elmira College. Mary was a long-time member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Wellsboro and served as a member of the Carmelites Third Order.
She was an avid reader, and loved her cats. She worked as a Med Tech at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital and worked as the Blood Bank Supervisor, serving in that capacity even after her retirement. After her husband passed away in 1981, she raised her three daughters, and the four women developed a close and enduring bond.
Mary is survived by her daughters: Nicole (Martin) Ostapowicz, Jr. of Morris, Carolyn Antoniw (Steve Patkos) of Fallbrook, CA, and Sophie (Frank) Levindoski of Wellsboro; five grandchildren: Brittany Antoniw, Martin Ostapowicz, Nicholas Levindoski (Caitlin Tameris), Lindsay Levindoski, and Blake Levindoski; two great-grandchildren: Luke and Walker Levindoski; and a sister: Elizabeth Giacco.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother: Joseph Henneberger, Jr.
Friends and family are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial at 11am Monday March 31, 2025 at Holy Child Catholic Church Mansfield, PA. Burial will be in the Wellsboro Cemetery.
Mary’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA 16901.
