Marsha G. Hedlund, 73, of Bradford, PA

Marsha G. Hedlund, 73, of Bradford, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at UPMC Hamot, Erie.
She was born on April 8, 1952 in Bradford, a daughter of the late George “Dutch” and Maxine Pepe Glander.
She was a 1970 graduate of the former Bradford Central Christian.
On April 26, 1980 in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bradford, she married Richard W. Hedlund who preceded her in death on October 6, 1996.
Marsha was employed by the Bradford Hospital, Miles Bradford, Kendall Witco and various local attorneys prior to be hired as a secretary at Dresser Manufacturing Co. where she worked from June 1994 until her retirement in June 2016.
She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church where she volunteered as a Eucharistic Minister; the Fireflies Cootiettes where she was a past Grand Grayback as well as many other positions; VFW Frances Sherman Auxiliary where she was instrumental in the annual Memorial Day parade; American Legion Post 108 and the former Bradford Moose Club. Marsha enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino and working on jigsaw puzzles and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by seven nieces and nephews, Katherine Meeks of Bradford, Rita Timblin of Bradford, Scott Meeks of Custer City, Tyler Hedlund of Great Valley, NY, Cole Hedlund of Great Valley, Brian (Letty) Schuetrum of CA and Kim Nelson of IN; brother-in-law, Timothy (Diane) Hedlund of Great Valley; sister-in-law, Patricia (John) Schuetrum of Mitchell, IN; two great nephews, Justin Sikes of Bradford and Hunter Tanner of Smethport; one great niece, Sara (Anthony) Claussen of NC and five great great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one sister, Sue Ann Meeks, one niece and one nephew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 AM in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. James Gutting as celebrant.
Private burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
