Mark E. Young, 65, of Galeton, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at UPMC Cole in Coudersport, PA.  Born March 1, 1959, in Lancaster, PA, he was a son of the late James F. Young and A. Yvonne (Schneider) Young of Mt. Joy, PA. Mark graduated from Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, VA.

He was a Public Insurance Adjuster based in Bensalem, PA. On June 7, 2000, he married the former Marion Teachman, who survives.  He was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Mt. Joy and a member of the Wellsboro Moose.

In addition to his wife, Marion Young and his mother, A. Yvonne Young, he is survived by a son, Gage Jones; a daughter, Corrine (Jonathan) Morales; two step-sons, Tony (Marcy) Rachiele and Thomas Rachiele; a step-daughter, Erin (Darrell) Jackson; two brothers, Tim Young and Steve Roland; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Mark was predeceased by two brothers, James A. Young and John Roland. Services will be held at the family’s convenience.
