Marjorie “Jean” Clawson Quiggle Hackett passed away Sunday, January 14 at Warren General Hospital at the age of 99 just shy of her 100th birthday.
Jean was born March 5, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert J. and Hannah A. (Shuster) Clawson. Jean worked several jobs in the Cleveland area including a time at the Rations Board during the Great Depression where she would routinely slip extra ration coupons into the hands of parents needing shoes for their children.

Determined to remain active well into her 90’s, Jean could be seen walking her neighborhood and greeting everyone on her front porch most days.
