Margy R. Greenwalt, 77, of Port Allegany, passed away Thursday (October 2, 2025) at Bradford Manor, Bradford, PA.

She was born August 9, 1948 in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of Wallace and Margaret (Jones) Spade. On March 26, 1971, in Smethport, PA, she married Gary Richard Greenwalt, who died April 8, 2016.

Margy was a 1967 graduate of Port Allegany High School and attended New Castle Trade School, graduating in 1970.

Margy loved shopping, going for walks, sitting in the park and her cat, “Angel”.

She had worked as a nurse aide, employed by North Canton Health Care, Canton, OH, retiring after 42 years.

She is survived by:

One sister: Sue (Frank) Baker of Coudersport, PA

A sister in law: Patricia Reese

And several nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be no visitation or services at this time. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Canton, OH.
