Margaret “Peg” Marzo, age 87, passed away peacefully Tuesday January 31, 2023 at Guthrie Hospital in Corning NY.

She was born July 8th, 1935 to Rexford and Reba (Kelts) Seely. She graduated from Elkland Area High School in 1953 and later returned to work for Northern Tioga School District as a secretary. She married Orlando “Bugs” Marzo and later had two sons. Timothy (Tammy) Marzo and Louis (Kimberly) Marzo.

Margaret loved hunting, fishing and  to live life surrounded by her favorite people (as well as her horses and pups) and had an uncanny ability to make a party out of any occasion and invite anyone and everyone into her home with open arms and a drink.

She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Smouther; brother, Hugh T. (Joan) Seely; sons and daughter-in-laws, Tim and Tammy and Louis and Kim; grandchildren Travis (Rachel) Marzo, Sierra and Kendra Marzo; great-grandchildren, Chase, Quinn and Trent Marzo as well as several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 W. Main St., Elkland on Saturday, Feb. 4th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kermit Shrawder officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Osceola.
