Margaret J. Grimone, 87, of Emporium, PA passed away with her family by her side at Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys, PA on Friday afternoon (January 17, 2025). She was born January 30, 1937 in St. Marys, PA, a daughter of the late John and Mildred Sebring Kinsler. On April 7, 1956 in St. Marks Catholic Church she married the late William J. Grimone.

Mrs. Grimone graduated from Emporium High School, in the class of 1954. She and her husband were the owners of the former Big G Department Store in Emporium and St. Marys and also Warren Sports Store in Warren. She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Kersey and had been a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Emporium.

Margaret is survived by four daughters, Mary Theresa, Mrs. Jerry “Chub” Frank, Bear Lake, PA; Scarlett, Mrs. David Reigel, Emporium; Ann Margaret, Mrs. Christopher Heglen, Emporium; Billie Jo, Mrs. Stephen Stoltz, Treasure Lake, PA; son-in-law, Michael Erickson, Bradford; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; brother, James Kinsler and his wife Beverly, Chautauqua, NY; and a sister-in-law, Janice Kinsler, Emporium.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by

a daughter, Angela E. Erickson; sister, Patricia Pride and a brother, J. Timothy Kinsler.

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. 4th St., Emporium, PA on Monday (Jan. 20, 2025) from 10:00 -10:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA at 11:00 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor and Rev. Ross R. Miceli, Concelebrants.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA
