MAKE RESERVATIONS BY THIS COMING MONDAY, DEC. 18 FOR HAMILTON-GIBSON’S NEW YEAR’S EVE MURDER MYSTERY “RESORTING TO MURDER”
Make reservations by this coming Monday, Dec. 18 to celebrate the New Year by participating in Hamilton-Gibson’s murder mystery “Resorting to Murder.”
Hosting the interactive night of murder, mystery and intrigue at the Indigo Sapphire Resort is the eloquent Marcella Marshal, illustrious hotel manager.
Guests, 18 years of age and older, have the choice of being a character or a spectator. Those who choose to be a character will be emailed information two weeks prior to the event. There are no lines to memorize. They are asked to dress in character for the role and come ready to “improv” with their given prompts.
Those who choose to spectate will be able to mingle with the characters and help solve the murder, but will not be given a special prompt.
On New Year’s Eve, Sunday, Dec. 31, the Indigo Sapphire Resort, the tropical retreat where people go to melt away stress and relax their senses, will open promptly at 6 p.m. in the Gallery at the Warehouse Theatre at 3 Central Avenue in Wellsboro.
Marcella is hosting a New Year’s Eve party at the exclusive resort until 9 p.m. Dec. 31. It will be a night to remember with surprises, including a murder.
There will be multiple games with chances to win a $75 flex pass, free drink tokens for the night and a special percentage off a ticket for the 2024 season.
Great food and desserts are included in the cost of the event ticket as well as a celebratory champagne toast at 9 p.m. for all that attend who are 21 and over.
Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, such as the signature drink for $4 a cup.
There are 10 female and 10 male characters that will provide a complete experience during the evening.
Some characters that will be seen throughout the evening are: Saraphina Sax, a pompous heiress; Tomara Thompson, Cameron Cooper’s wife who chose to keep her last name due to her career as an actor; Felicity Brosley who is cheating on her husband with Cameron Cooper and is Tomara’s best friend; Hermione Blossom who came into a huge sum of money from her deceased husband and is not the smartest tool in the shed; Cameron Cooper who is cheating on his wife with Felicity Brosley; Sven, a random exotic man; Apple Zafrin, a pool boy; and David Howard, the sassy manager of the resort.
